Christian Cashmir
Fine Art Photographer
Christian Cashmir’s journey as a photographer began with a simple yet transformative gift from his grandmother: her trusty 35mm film camera. Fascinated by the possibilities of the medium, he honed his craft in college, experimenting with darkroom techniques and developing a profound appreciation for detail and composition. A defining visit to his first Ansel Adams exhibition revealed the power of large-format landscape photography, and he was hooked.
Today, Cashmir travels the globe with an array of large-format cameras, capturing nature’s raw, unfiltered majesty. His signature, larger-than-life prints—some exceeding 20 feet in width—transform spaces into immersive encounters, inviting viewers to experience the world’s most extraordinary vistas in bold and unforgettable brilliance.

A Large Format Adventure
Whether he’s waiting hours for the perfect cloud formation atop the Swiss Alps, or spending days staking out Florida’s beaches for the perfect sunset, Christian’s renowned patience and eye for composition has earned him recognition as one of the leading landscape artists in the world.
“Not everyone trusts paintings, but people believe photographs.”
– Ansel Adams

CAPTURING THE MAGIC
The UK is one of Christian’s favorite places to capture his fine art photography. This is where Majesty of Moher was captured, one of his most popular works. Christian describes creating Majesty of Moher:
“We hiked up to the top of the cliffs hoping for a sunset, but it was pouring. The few people left on the cliffs retreated to their cars as the rain intensified. A huge storm cloud advanced on us at breakneck speed. The rain drenched us for a few minutes, and then like magic, the clouds cleared to reveal one of the most incredible sunsets I’d ever seen. I quickly wiped off my lens, and captured this image just as the sun was crossing horizon. And as quick as the sun came out, the clouds swallowed it again. I think our team knew we captured something special that day.”
